Played his club soccer for Ørn Horten, with whom he won the Norwegian F.A. Cup in 1920. Also had the honour of representing the national team of Norway on six occasions. Emigrated to Massachusettes during the winter of 1923/24.
After emigration first played for Boston Norwegian American SC, before moving his soccer to the Brooklyn-area to play for Norge FC and Norwegian Turn Society. Then had his first stint in the ASL with the Swedish dominated Indiana Flooring Company FC, playing three games during the 1925-26 season. Returned to Turn Society, before switching to the Swedish club Viking AC, back to Turn Society, over to Elizabeth, New Jersey to play for Scandinavian AC. Up to Boston to play two games for the Bears in the ASL during the 1931 fall season. Retired after a short stint with Viking AC.
