The resumption of soccer activities will be heralded by the large army of enthusiasts who were deprived of their sport last Saturday when due to the heavy snow fall the Fall River game had to be canceled. It was possible to resume practice sessions and every effort will be made to have the club in wining form for the visitors.
The layoff of several days has enabled players who were nursing slight injuries to thoroughly recover and with every dribbler in the pink of condition the home club will be able to field its strongest team. The schedule is now well advanced into the second half and from now on the loss of points threatens to have a material bearing on the final spurt for the honors.
Unless plans are changed the Steel Workers will lineup with the team proposed for the Fall River club. That means that Goldie and Rollo will comprise the left wing with Granger and Forrest on the right flanking Archie Stark at center forward. The selection of halfbacks and backs will probably be decided on the form displayed in practice the remainder of this week with surely no dearth in available star talent to pick from.
Bethlehem's position in the league standing is now such that critics point to the Steel Workers as about the only club to stop the rush of the National champions, Boston, by recent defeats has dropped three points less than Bethlehem and six points behind Fall River. Bethlehem is trailing the champions by a margin of 3 points but has played one game less than Fall River.
The kickoff on Saturday will be promptly at 2:30.
