A Swing Along Athletic Row

Soccer Game Only Major Attraction
Again on Saturday will soccer hold full sway in outdoor offerings when the Bethlehem Steel soccer team collides with the Brooklyn F. C. on the Steel Field. The attraction is about the only major affair in the Lehigh Valley and soccer enthusiasts will no doubt turn out en masse to see the Bethlehemites in action. In meeting the Brooklyn outfit the Steel Workers oppose a team that thus far this season has been no little concern to the local clan and likewise have attracted recognition over the entire American League circuit. Twice have Bethlehem and Brooklyn met and but once has there been a conqueror. In the first meeting in Brooklyn the locals shared the honors with their opponents in a draw while in the second meeting on the Steel Field, Bethlehem nosed out victorious only after a most spirited battle. George Young of Philadelphia, has been assigned to referee the game.
