Soccer Notes

The next three games on the Bethlehem schedule will call for the best efforts of the Steel Workers. Next Sunday they travel to Newark where they meet the Federal Ship F. C. in a National League game. On Saturday January 31st they will be at home with the Wanderers of Philadelphia in the fourth round of the National Cup, and on Sunday February 8th they travel to Harrison, N. J., where they meet the Erie A. A. in the semi-final of the American Cup.

Fall River Rovers will play J & P Coats next Saturday in the third round of the American Cup. The winner will meet Fore River in the fourth round.

Morse Dry Dock and Robins Dry Dock will meet next Sunday in the replay of the fourth Round American Cup game and a great contest will be witnessed. Robins were defeated by Morse in the first game but were successful in a protest to the A. F. A.

The Erie players showed great love for the game when they worked all morning clearing their field of snow for the Paterson game. They were a happy crowd when the whistle found them winners after two hours battling with the Silk Sockers.

Archie Stark, who played with Bethlehem during the Swedish tour, will be in the Erie lineup against the champions in the semi-final game at Federal League ball grounds Harrison, N. J., on February 8th.
