Bang Goes the Soccer Game
Although not official, efforts to play the fourth round in the National Cup competition between Bethlehem F. C. and Wanderers on the local field on Saturday appears absolutely futile. Yesterday, while the storm was still in its early stages, "Billy" Sheridan of the Bethlehem clan announced that there would have to be a decided break in the weather to make the game possible. "Billy" got the break and in addition got a nice heap of snow added to the ice and snow that covered the field before the start of the blizzard. "Bill" Stark would need more than one regiment of youngsters to clear the playing space and since such a big army is not available, it is practically certain that there will be no game. This is the third postponement of the game, inclement weathering conditions figuring in each.
