Soccer Night Planned
Area soccer enthusiasts will be present next Monday when Johnson Post, American Legion, stages an old timers' night program beginning at 7:30 o'clock. Soccer films will be shown and interest will be generated in a revival of the sport locally. Among gentlemen invited to attend are Archie Stark, center-forward on Bethlehem Steel teams of bygone days, and James B. Easton, school board president and former booting star. Joe Saurino, coach of the Johnson Post team, will be present. Johnson Post hopes to field a representative team next season, possibly applying for a league franchise.
