STEEL SHOULD BE SLIGHT FAVORITE
Fall River Will Invade lair of Local Soccer Team on Saturday
GAME MAY DECIDE TITLE

"Locals Fortunate in Getting a Draw," is the caption over the details of the Bethlehem Steel-Fall River game played recently at Fall River and appearing in the Fall River papers. In that event Bethlehem Steel playing on the home field tomorrow afternoon should be a slight favorite in the titanic struggle that is certain to materialize.

Fall River will invade Bethlehem determined to defend its lead in the league race while Bethlehem Steel will engage their heated rivals determined to close the gap separating them in the point margin. The meeting brings together the foremost clubs in the country and although other games are to be played in the circuit not any will command the attention of the Bethlehem setto.

With the exception of one position the makeup of the Bethlehem clan is practically decided. The one position in doubt is on the forward line where either Johnny Granger or "Sturdy" Maxwell will get the assignment. Maxwell played his first game in six weeks against New Bedford last Sunday. Prior to that Granger was given preference at inside right. With the field fast and dry the veteran "Jock" Ferguson is more than likely to get the call. His younger brother Davy proved a good mudder with his sensational playing against New Bedford on a heavy field last Saturday.

The kickoff will be promptly at 2:30 o'clock with Danny Oates refereeing. The probable lineup follows:

Bethlehem Steel -- Fall River
Carson -- G -- Kerr
Young -- RFB -- Tate
D. or J. Ferguson -- LFB -- Kemp
McDonald -- RHB -- McPherson
Carnihan -- CHB -- Raeside
MacGregor -- LHB -- Fryer
Forrest -- OR -- Campbell
Granger or Maxwell -- IR -- Reid
Stark -- CF -- Brittan
Rollo -- IL -- Croft
Goldie -- OL -- McGowan
