NO SOCCER GAME SUNDAY
Ground Conditions Will Prevent Cup Tie Battle at Brooklyn, N. Y.
POSTPONED A WEEK
The Eastern Final Round of the National Cup soccer competition which was to have been played on Sunday afternoon at Dexter Field, Brooklyn, N. Y., between the Bethlehem F. C. and Fall River F. C. has been postponed on account of the condition of the playing surface of the field.
Word to this effect was received at noon today by the local management from the offices of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in New York. Definite confirmation of this report by National Cup officials had not been received up to two o'clock this afternoon, but the postponement is none the less certain.
The final round will probably be played a week from tomorrow on the same grounds.
