SOCCER

Recent reports from West Hudson management declare the grounds is in fairly good condition and there is every prospect of next Sunday's game between Bethlehem Steel and West Hudson being played. The game is being advertised extensively throughout Newark and Patterson districts, and there is every prospect of a record crowd being in attendance. Bethlehem Steel was put through a strenuous sixty minutes practice game yesterday afternoon on Lehigh field. David M. Shyte, Brooklyn, the referee, has been instructed to inspect the grounds on Saturday afternoon, March 4, and wire the Bethlehem Steel management, the condition of the playing field.

Herbert Lawson, a member of the Bethlehem East End, and also a reserve the Bethlehem Steel team yesterday left for Chicago.
