In the Final
By eliminating Newark in the semi-final round for the Lewis trophy, the Bethlehem Steel Soccer team is assured a crack at at least one crown during the present season's campaigning. Eliminated in the National, the Steelmen will go into the final in the cup tournament of the professional clubs and is also standing pretty as a contender for the second half championship in the American Soccer League. In the final for the Lewis trophy the opponent of t he Steelmen will be either Boston or New Bedford. The Hub booters qualified for the semi-final round by totaling one more goal in the two games than Fall River and will now meet New Bedford.

Support Quite Encouraging
Playing Bethlehem's home games in Philadelphia more or less as an experiment, it is understood that the turnout of fans was quite encouraging and that Phillie fans would again welcome a team of big league caliber. Under expert management such as has been given the Bethlehem Steel teams of the past and present, it is believed that Philadelphia could be developed into a red-hot soccer community. The game on Saturday was played on the athletic field of the Northeast High School and it is understood that this playground is available at any time as well as several other well located grounds.
