First Home Game in Month

An outpouring en mass of Bethlehem soccer followers should result on Saturday in view of the fact that this will be the first game on home loam for the Bethlehem eleven in the past month. The kickoff will be promptly at three o’clock with Fred Pepper, local referee, officiating.

The clash with the Giants is an important league match but the Bethlehem management plans to use as much of its reserve strength as possible in anticipation of an even harder game with the New York Nationals at the Polo Grounds in New York Sunday afternoon. The Nationals have been a real jinx to the local eleven this year, and while defeated by other teams in the circuit, still have to lose their first game to a Bethlehem eleven this season.

Every effort is being made to keep the team at full strength, intact and in good form for the important cup match with Fall River, to be played at the Polo Grounds in New York on Sunday, March 16th. This will be the Eastern final, the winner to enter the intersectional series with the Western champions for the national title.
