Tomorrow's National League game between New York F. C. and Bethlehem Steel at Bethlehem Steel field will be the last important contest staged on Bethlehem Steel field this season. The New Yorkers will put up a great fight for the points and the Steel Workers will have to give of their best from the start to make sure of the points. When New York visited here last years in a league game the champions failed to take them serious and soon found themselves playing an uphill game, and mighty glad to be in the lead when the final whistle blew. A victory tomorrow will mean that their most dangerous rival, Paterson F. C. will have to win all their remaining games to even make a tie for the championship. New York will come here determined to upset the present standing of the league but the Steel Workers seem to be fully award of the importance of victory and can be relied upon to play the full ninety minutes with the determination that the occasion demands.
Merchant A and Paterson F. C. will play a National League game on Sunday at Bristol. If the Steel Workers are victorious tomorrow and Paterson fails to win on Saturday the championship will go to Bethlehem.
The fourth round game between the Roses of Detroit and Bricklayers and Masons of Chicago will be played on Sunday at Chicago. The Steel Workers expect to travel west on march 30 to meet the winner in the semi-final.
The probable lineup of the Bethlehem Steel team for tomorrow's game will be Duncan, Wilson, Ferguson, Brown, Campbell, Pepper, McKelvey, Butler, Easton, Forrest and Fleming. Referee; George Young of Philadelphia. Game is schedule to start at 3 o'clock.
