Great preparations are being made by the American Football Association officials for the semi-final American cup game between the Robins Dry Dock F. C. and Bethlehem Steel F. C. and if the weather conditions are favorable a record crowd for a semi-final game is expected. The Steel Workers have won the American Cup four times in the last five years and are beginning to feel as if it is their personal property, and will certainly play with great determination to retain it. They are aware that the opposition this year is exceptionally strong and all clubs interested at this stage of the competition will strain every nerve to break the Bethlehem winning streak. Whatever the result may be a great game is sure to be witnessed, with both teams giving their best. The Bethlehem line-up will have at least two changes, but t he final line-up will not be determined until shortly before the game.
Fletcher is the only Bethlehem player who will be unable to play in Sunday's game, as he has not fully recovered from the injury he received in the game against the Goodyear Rubber Co., in the National Cup game.
Local fans who intend seeing the game at Federal Park, Newark, will be in time leaving here on the Central Railroad of New Jersey at 10:40 Sunday morning.
