A Swing Along Athletic Row

Influx of Irish on Soccer Team
When John McCormick dons a uniform of the Bethlehem Steel F. C., on Saturday afternoon, soccer fans will have their first opportunity of seeing the recent arrival to this country in action with the big leaguers. Jack Evans, hailing from Ireland, recommended McCormick as a goalie and if his display in a recent game means anything, Dave Carson will have an excellent understudy to relieve him as custodian in some of the games. McCormick appears to be a natural player, has a good kick and in fact revealed that he possesses all other essentials of a good goalie. With McCormick in the lineup on Saturday, the Steel Workers other natives of Erin will be Whitey McDonald, the brilliant halfback and jack Evans, a halfback who has played several games this season.
