Hibernian Has Only Slight Chance of Tieing for American League Title.

Hibernian spoiled its chance of winning the American league championship by dropping the game to Victor on Saturday, although it can tie Bethlehems by winning from the Steelworkers at Bethlehem next Saturday. This is possible, but not probable. The United League title was decided three weeks ago in favor of Feltonville, and Putnam won the championship in the Allied league. With the exception of the Playgrounds league, the only title to be decided is in the third division of the Allied league, in which competition Edgemoor and the Veteran A. A. are tied, and will in all likelihood play off next Saturday. .
