The Globe -- South Bethlehem
Thursday, March 23, 1916

The Bethlehem Steel team has lost the services of Jere Dean, who left for Fort William, Canada yesterday morning, having been forced to return on account of business difficulties. HE is not expected to return to Bethlehem.

Brown, who suffered an injury of a leg in a practice game, against Lehigh is improved.

Chicago defeated Cleveland, last Saturday by the score of 3-1, in the fourth round of the National Cup competition. This victory put Chicago in the semi-final and it is more than likely it will meet the winner of the Bethlehem-West Hudson game.

Officials in charge of the benefit game between Bethlehem Steel and the pick of the Blue Mountain league, will be played next Saturday on the East End field, will present the same lineups with the exception of two changes in the Steel company team, H. E. Lewis taking Duncan's place in goal and Camoletti filing outside left berth.

J. H. Carpenter, of Bethlehem, will referee this game.
