Corner Kicks

The Bethlehem Steel soccer team left this afternoon for Pawtucket, R. I., where tomorrow the Steel Workers will open a two-game series in the American Soccer League with J & P Coats as the opponent. On Sunday, the Steel Workers will entertain in New York City with the National Giants as their opponents.

That few changes are likely in the lineup over that which appeared against Fleisher in the American Cup tie game last Saturday was hinted. It is possible that Carson, one of the goalies, will relieve Highfield in one of the games, with the likelihood that this game will be against the National Giants.

Jock Ferguson, the veteran back, who last season sported the colors of J & P Coats, will most likely work against his former teammates with Young held in reserve for the Sunday game.

On these two games hinge Bethlehem's chances in the American League r ace. Victories in both will place the club within a point margin of Fall River with one game less played. However, defeat in either one would materially increase the Fall River margin.
