A meeting of the American League of Philadelphia will be held tonight in the Inquirer building, Philadelphia. The most important business to be transacted will be the staging of the postponed league games on dates that will be satisfactory to all clubs. This is expected to be a difficult proposition as Bethlehem and Disston are still in cup competitions, and will have to play those games first as they take precedence over league games.
The Lehigh and Bethlehem soccer teams lined up against each other yesterday afternoon for a stiff 90 minute practice game in preparation for their important contests next Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and Bethlehem Steel will clash with West Hudson at Newark on Sunday. Both teams tried out several new plays.
The game next Sunday with West Hudson which is to be played on Federal League park, Harrison, N. J., has been ordered to start promptly at 2:30 p.m., and must be played to finish.
