SOCCER NOTES

The Bethlehem Steel team was given track work yesterday and the forward line of the Lehigh team was given a hard sixty minute workout in the cage.

The University of Pennsylvania team which has been playing steadily all along is confident of winning the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate championship and the silver cup which goes with it. This beautiful trophy is of solid silver has been donated by the following: Morris W. Johnson and Douglas Stewart, Philadelphia; H. E. Lewis and Major A. B. de Saulles, Bethlehem. The cup will be known as the Pennsylvania intercollegiate cup and will be held one year by the winning team.

One of the Pennsylvania stars who will be seen in action against Lehigh will be Nassau, the inside right of the varsity team. This player has been putting up a sensational game this season for the red and blue team, and is undoubtedly one of the best soccer players in the college ranks today.

Brown the inside left of the Bethlehem Steel team who is suffering of a strain of the left leg is improved.

Ferguson, the left fullback of Bethlehem Steel was yesterday reported to be ill of grip.
