Finalist in the National Cup competition and possible entrants in the American Cup competition, not a cup game, will be played in Bethlehem this season. In the National Cup Bethlehem was drawn to play all the preliminary round games away from home and the draw in the league cup affair will also see the Steel Workers strut their stuff on alien loam.
This much is disclosed in a close scrutiny of the draw made by the American Soccer League executives which has been completed down to the final round. As usual in cup affairs, the semi-final and final rounds will be played on a neutral field.
To advance as semi-finalists in the American League cup competition Bethlehem must dispose of Philadelphia and Newark F. C. and then will meet in the semi-final the survivor of the Brooklyn F. C., Indiana Flooring and New York Giants feud. These six clubs are listed as those comprising the metropolitan section, the divisional classification for the league clubs.
Those comprising the New England sector are New Bedford, Shawsheen, and J & P Coats, in one bracket of the draw, and Providence, Fall River and Boston in the other bracket.
