A Truly All-American Team
When the final in the National Cup Challenge, which is emblematic of the soccer championship of the United States, is played at Fall River, Mass., on April 19, the Scullin Steel F. C., contenders with the Robins Dry Dock, will present a truly All-American team. The Scullins will be composed of American-born players, natives of St. Louis and products of the public schools of that city. While the Robins play the type of soccer that is popular overseas, the Scullins play an aggressive style that is typical of all American-born players, and the contrast in the styles is arousing speculations as to who will be the next national champions.
