JOLIET TEAM WILL ARRIVE ON FRIDAY

Acting Manager Horsfal today received word from Joliet that they will arrive in t own on the Black Diamond from Chicago, via Buffalo, Friday evening at 6 o'clock.

National Secretary Cahill, who attended Harry Trend's funeral yesterday, stated that Joliet was probably the best balanced team in the west today and that they combined speed and cleverness. He also spoke of their Goalkeeper Puay, of their outside left Vidano, center forward Gommorra and center half Phil Jones as being remarkable players. Their fullbacks, Eneratta and Kelly play a sound game, and Secretary Cahill looks for an exceedingly close game.

The local team's record for this year, although having suffered one defeat, is considered the best in its career in that it has met practically all of the representative teams of the country and most of the away from home. Of the 34 games played so far this season, 16 have been played at home and 18 away from home.
