Soccer Salons to Meet in New York
Usually held in Chicago as a more central point the twelfth annual meeting of the United States Football Association will be held this year on May 18 and 19 in New York City. This will be the first meeting held in New York since the second annual meeting held there in 1915. Morris W. Johnson, of Philadelphia, will preside as president and living in the East probably influenced the delegates to come there. The session promises to be of vital interest to all soccer followers. One of the issues more than likely will be an effort to again interest the American League clubs to participate in the National cup final in which they withdrew this season to conduct a cup affair all of their own. However, incidents that cropped up intimate strongly that the clubs might reconsider and if their concessions are met will again affiliate with the National trophy.
