Soccer Notes

There is a possibility of one or two changes in the Bethlehem Steel lineup on Saturday, but the team will not be determined until shortly before the game.

In a twilight practice game at the Bethlehem Steel field yesterday the Reds defeated the Blues by the score of three goals to two. Duncan, Forrest and Morrison scored for the Reds, and Murphy and Ratican scored for the Blues.

Spalding and McLaughlin will probably be see in the Disston lineup in the reply of the semi-final game at Philadelphia on Saturday. However, it is doubtful if either man will show improvement on the display of Dutcher and McEwan.

If Bethlehem had scored first in Saturday's game they probably would now be finalists but that one goal leeway and their over-anxiety to make it up spoiled many a good chance to score.

The Disston fullbacks worked the offside game to perfection and Ratican was often caught napping in an adroit forward movement of either one or the other of the Disston players.
