Steel Workers Have Good Think Tanks
Early in the season the soccer critics were somewhat adverse in their opinion of the Bethlehem club, many Philadelphians picking one or two of the shipyard teams as having something on the local crowd. Since Bethlehem has annexed the whole bag of honors their opinion has changed which is indicated by the following soccer note appearing in one of the Philadelphia dailies:
"Speaking of Bethlehem, you certainly have to hand it to the players for the manner in which they keep in the game. What is more, they have more soccer in their think tanks than the average player, while they are also there with the combination stuff."
