Soccer Notes

Saturday's victory over Disston in the semifinal of the American cup was a very opportune event for the Steel Workers and all the players are in high spirits and looking forward to Fall River game with a confidence that cannot be denied.

Tommy Swords the Fall River inside left is an opportunist who will take a great deal of watching next Saturday but the Steel Workers will do well not to make the mistake that West Hudson made in the semi-final. They paid so much attention to Swords that Morgan and Chadwick were uncovered and scored easy goals.

Pawtucket the scene of the National Cup final is the greatest soccer center in the country and if the weather is favorable a crowd of about 10,000 spectators will witness the game.
