Flashy Soccer Game Expected on "Lehigh Field" on Elizabeth Avenue

The Bethlehem Steel soccer field will scintillate with stars of the first magnitude in the realm of soccerdom when the National champions clash with the Boston F. C. in the final game of their American Soccer League series on Saturday afternoon at 2:30.

The Hubmen invade Bethlehem with their celebrated forward line which comprise the former popular Bethlehem favorite, "Whitey" Fleming, at outside left; Blair, a center forward who with three goals to his credit eliminated Fall Rive in the cup competition and is pressing Archie Stark, Bethlehem's center forward for the individual scoring honors in the league. McNabb a speedy and sure shooting outside right who with Fleming form a most excellent pair of wingmen. The inside forwards, J. Ballantyne and Galloway are a pair of seasoned veterans and fit in nicely in distributing the play to their co-workers on the front line.

Good Team All Through.

But Boston has more than a forward line, being favorably blessed with halfbacks, fullbacks and a goalie to equally balance the offensive strength of the team. Steel in goal is a tower of strength as a custodian and when at his best has few equals. McMillan and MacArthur comprise a formidable pair of backs with the halfback line of McIntyre, Priestly and R. Ballantyne, a trio of experienced players.

Against this array of players Bethlehem will field a club which crashed through for the National title and which in a series enjoyed an even break with the Hubmen. Three games were played, each winning one and the third resulting in a draw. Of this number of games, two were played at Boston and but one on home loam.

The kickoff will be promptly at 2:30 o'clock with the teams lining up as follows:
