A Swing Along Athletic Row

By Fred Nonnemacher
Start Training for Canadian Invasion
Manager Sheridan has issued a call for all soccer players to unpack their togs and get in action for the trip to Canada where, at Toronto, they meet a selected aggregation of "Kanucks." The game will b e played on May 24 (Victoria Day). Strenuous practice sessions will start this afternoon and will continue every day until the time for the trip. Another exhibition game is to be played on the trip homeward but where has not been decided. Hamilton put in a bid for an exhibition contest but it is understood the guarantee is not sufficient to warrant the players laying over in Canada for two days before figuring in the second start. However, should the "ante" be raised the Hamilton enthusiasts may see the team in action.
