TWO WINS FOR SOCCER TEAM
Invades Cleveland, Ohio, and Triumphs in Both the Contests Played
STARK IN FINE SHAPE

The Bethlehem Steel soccer team displayed plenty of class on its invasion of Cleveland, Ohio, where over the weekend the local dribblers turned in two victories in exhibition games. On both occasions the Bethlehem team opposed a selected All-Star aggregation.

While their opponents tried hard and fought every minute of the game they lacked the finish of the Steel Workers and after the first few minutes of play the ultimate outcome was never again in doubt. In the Decoration Day game Bethlehem won by the score of 4 to 1. Archie Stark notching all four tallies for his team. At the end of the half the Steel Workers were leading by the score of 1 to 0 but after scoring their first goal seemed content to delight the spectators with clever football. After the restart they concentrated more determinedly on the attack and the three succeeding goals came in rapid succession.

The Sunday game against an All-Star team with several players of the previous day again in the lineup, was simply a repetition of the Decoration Day tilt with Bethlehem again doing the major portion of the play. The All-Star dribblers seemed to have little hope of scoring and massed their efforts in defensive tactics. IN spite of this the Steel Workers attacked viciously and although there was no scoring in the first half although ten corners were yielded, the All-Stars were unable to stand up under offense and when the net was located the three goals were counted in rapid succession, one each by Rollo, MacGregor and Stark.
