Soccer Players Getting Well-Earned Rest

Despite the fact that the Bethlehem Steel soccer champions will be called upon to uphold the honors established in the game in this country when the team makes its international tour, Manager Sheridan has suspended all activities in training for several weeks at least. It was intended to keep the players right on the jump after their return from the Canadian trip but the blazing rays of the sun brought about a change in the training program. Together with the extreme heat as a reason, all the players returned from Canada completely fagged out after figuring in the three grueling games in as many days. The set-off for the journey to Sweden is not scheduled until July 19 so practice will not be resumed until probably a week before that time.
