Soccer Notes

Manager Garside of the Paterson F. C. states that his team is confident of their ability to defeat the Steel Workers here tomorrow and clinch the National League pennant for New Jersey. Several former Bethlehem Steel players are in the Paterson lineup and are playing a star game at present. The Bethlehem team will not be decided until 3 o'clock and all the players are requested to be on hand. An effort will be made to put in the same team that won the National and American cup finals, the only position being in doubt is that of Captain Pepper, who was injured in the National Cup final and has not fully recovered. The soccer game will start immediately after the baseball game with Steelton, which starts at 2 p.m.
