6-Man Team From This City Wins Trophies at Grant City, L. I.
OTHER FIELD EVENTS STAGED

Six members of the Bethlehem Steel soccer team visited Grant City, Long Island, yesterday afternoon and took part in a six-on-a-side football tournament under the auspices of the Erie Basin Dry Dock Athletic Association. Eight teams were entered for the challenge cup offered by the promoters, but the Steel Workers proved too strong for all competitors and returned to Bethlehem with the cup in their possession. In addition each member of the Bethlehem team was presented with a gold signet ring. Two members of the party also participated in other events. Brittan, one of the new members of the Bethlehem team, proving too fast for all his opponents in the 100 yard footballers' champion [...] and Duncan, the local goal keeper, taking second place in the place [...] kick.

The result of the games gave Bethlehem a victory in the first round, semi-final and final, winning the first round from New York F. C., 2 to 0; the semi-final from Robins Dry Dock [...] to 0, and the final Robins Dry Dock [...] to 0.

The lineup in the final included [...] Robertson, Patterson, McKenna, Hayes and Garside, for Robins Dry Docks, and Duncan, Murray, Campbell, Murphy, Brittan and Fleming for Bethlehem.

In the 100 yard dash, Brittan was first, Robertson second and McKay, third. Time 10 2/5 seconds.

In the place kick, Loney, of Babcock and Wilcox, was first; Duncan, Bethlehem, second. The former's distance was 168 feet and Duncan registered 143 feet.
