PATERSON WILL PLAY SOCCER HERE ON SEPT. 28
At That Time National Soccer Season Will Open -- Six Team League
THREE CLUBS DROPPED
Are Unable to Organize this Year -- Schedule as Arranged at Present.

A National League game with Paterson F. C. will open the soccer season in Bethlehem on Saturday, Sept. 28. This became definitely assured at the meeting of the National League, held in Newark, N. J., on Saturday night, at which a part of the schedule was drawn. William Sheridan, representing the Bethlehem F. C., attended the meeting. The only other business transacted was rejecting the offer of the McKinley F. C., of New York City of admission to the league.

Only six teams will take part in this circuit this year instead of eight, which number comprised the league last season. The teams that will not be represented are the Jersey City, West Hudsons and Disstons F. c., being unable to get teams together. The only new organization to join the National League ranks is the Merchant Shipyard of Bristol.

The following is a part of the schedule, all games to be played on the grounds of the first club named:

Sept. 28: Bethlehem Steel vs. Paterson F. C., at Bethlehem.
Sept. 29: Merchant Ship F. C. vs. Babcock & Wilcox F. C.; Scottish American F. C. vs. New York F. C.
Oct. 6: Babcock & Wilcox F. C. vs. Scottish-American F. C.; New York F. C. vs. Bethlehem Steel F. C.; Paterson F. C. vs. Merchant Ship F. C.
Oct. 12: Bethlehem Steel F. C. s. Merchant Ship F. C.
Oct. 13: New York F. C. vs. Babcock & Wilcox F. C.; Scottish-American F. C. vs. Paterson F. C.
Oct. 20: Babcock & Wilcox F. C. vs. Bethlehem Steel F. C.; Merchant Ship F. C. vs. Scottish-American F. C.; Paterson F. C. vs. New York F. C.
Oct. 27: No league games scheduled account of American Football Cup tie.
Nov. 3: Scottish-American F. C. vs. Bethlehem Steel F.C.; Babcock & Wilcox F. C. vs. Paterson F. C.; New York F. C. vs. Merchant Ship F. C.
