On Saturday, October 6th, the first game of the National League schedule will take place at the Bethlehem Steel Athletic Field. Jersey A. C. will be the opponents of the Steel Workers and a keen and interesting game is certain to be the outcome. The clubs in and around New York have been strengthening up in anticipation of keen opposition from Disston and Bethlehem the latest additions to the league. The local team is just as anxious to capture the National League pennant as they are to win the American or the U. S. F. A. cup.
