A Swing Along Athletic Row

Fall River Fans Quite Optimistic
Fall River has not given up hope in that American Soccer League pennant race. That much is apparent by the gossip that comes trickling down from the camp of the marksmen. Some optimistic scribe in Fall River quite recently penned an opinion in which he states that "Fall River must beat Bethlehem to retain its championship in the American Soccer League." A nice tribute to Bethlehem and one well merited, but how about the other clubs that have bowled over the Marksmen and are in far better position in the league standing as real contenders? The early season defeats sustained by Fall River are hard to overcome and the strength of the clubs is more equally distributed than ever before.
