Soccer Notes

The National League game on Saturday between Babcock and Wilcox F. C. and the Bethlehem Steel will be the greatest test that the Steel Workers have had this season. The "Babs" appear to be the strongest aggregation in the New York District, leading the league to date with two straight victories. They will come here Saturday with a clean slate for the season and the local fans will witness a game that will be a first class exhibition for the full 90 minutes. The Babcock forward line is one of the fastest in the country and with Bob Millar, formerly of Bethlehem, in the center forward position the Steel Workers defense will have a harder time than in any game so far this season.
