STEEL TEAM NOT READY TO PLAY
Schedule This Week of national League Will Not See "Champs" In Action
STANDING IN LEAGUE

In arranging the schedule in the National Soccer League for games this Sunday, the Bethlehem champions are again omitted. It was expected that the Bethlehem team would get underway this week but the officials have decided to wait for the return of several of their stars before starting them in their campaign. It is expected, however, that the local aggregation will appear in the schedule the following week. From the soccer headquarters comes the announcement that the I. R. T. F. C. of New York has made application for a league berth and if the squad is admitted it will swell the number to ten clubs and an even schedule throughout the season.

Three games have already been played by the majority of the clubs and judging from the scores of the Robins Dry Dock team of Brooklyn appears to be the real contender for the championship honors. The team has won all three games played and proved decidedly superior to their opponents, amassing a total of 17 goals against seven by the opponents.

The following is the schedule for Sunday games:

New York F. C. vs. Paterson F. C., at New York City. Referee. Charles Creighton, New York City.
Morse Dry Dock F. C. vs. Federal Ship at Brooklyn, N. Y. Referee, Thos. Findlay, Bayonne, N. J.
Erie A. A. vs. Disston A. A. at East Newark, N. J. Referee, Thos. Cunningham, Brooklyn, N. Y.
