Soccer Notes

With the undefeated Philadelphia Football Club participating in but one of the seven matches scheduled in the American Soccer League play for this weekend and the famous Todd Shipyards eleven, of Brooklyn, but one point behind Philadelphia, in second place in the league standings, scheduled to play in two games, one tomorrow in Holyoke, Mass., and at home on Sunday afternoon against the erratic Fall River United, the Quaker City entry is in danger of losing, for the time being, at least, its lease-hold on the top floor apartment in the professional circuit's eight-story flat.

Neither of the Brooklyn Club's opponents of the weekend may prove as formidable as the adversaries the Philadelphia team entertains at National League Baseball Park tomorrow, the Harrison Soccer Club, of Harrison, N. J., last year's imposing Erie A. A. aggregation. The Philadelphia-Harrison struggle is due to get under way at 3 p.m. and James Kerr has been assigned to referee. The Harrison Club has played but four league games to date and so is in sixth place.

The league standings, with the record of goal-scoring to date, follows:
