SOCCER NOTES

On Sunday, Nov. 4th, the Bethlehem Steel soccer team will travel to Paterson to play a National League game with the Paterson F. C. This game will undoubtedly be the greatest test the Steel Workers have been put to this season, the Paterson club apparently being the strongest club in the New York district. The recent victory over the Babcock & Wilcox team by the score of 5 to 1 stamped them as a worthy opponent for any club in the country, but as in t he past, the Steel Workers surely rose to the occasion and if Paterson is able to annex the points it will be after one of the keenest struggles they have ever had. The entire local team came out of Saturday's Cup game without injury and are quietly confident of the outcome of Sunday's game.
