Philadelphia F. C. Continued Winning Stride on Saturday Defeating Harrison

The Philadelphia F. C. continued its victorious stride in the new American League by defeating the Harrison F. C. of Newark, N. J., on Saturday afternoon by the score of 3 goals to 1. Brittan, Fleming and Forrest, three former Bethlehemites, counted the goals for the Philadelphians.

The Todd Shipyard eleven, assuming the lead in the American League race when Philadelphia remained idle a week ago Saturday, retained this position with Philadelphia a close second, yesterday afternoon, by defeating the Fall River United team, 6 goals to 2. The playing of Jimmy Campbell, the veteran halfback, featured. In another league game yesterday, the Falco F. C. of Holyoke, Mass., and the New York F. C. played to a scoreless time.
