BETHLEHEM BOOTERS HAVE SATURDAY GAME
Reinforced Newark Portuguese Will be Foemen in Home Game.
REID TO MAKE DEBUT

When it was found impossible to arrange a schedule to meet mutually satisfactory "home" game situation which unexpectedly developed, the U. S. F. A. resolved to confine the Atlantic Coast League round robin series to New England clubs, on this weekend and the Eastern League clubs to wage their weekend battles among themselves.

As a result, Bethlehem will have a home game on Saturday afternoon, an announcement which although somewhat belated, will be most welcome to the host of soccer enthusiasts. Newark Portuguese have been given the task of lowering Bethlehem's colors, a job tried by many of the Eastern League clubs this season but at which few succeeded.

Just how much the defense has cracked, the forward starved and whatever other defects might have been accredited, the local booters will determine when they field a team of regulars to entertain the invading Portuguese. The latter have a strong and scrappy club.

The Steelmen are out on top and again appear destined to repeat in capturing the Eastern League title. The lead is more comfortable than it had been but the importance of victories still remains paramount and the value of points a vital factor to remain on top.

Johnny Rollo, who has been on the shelf with injury for the last two weeks, will probably be available for Saturday afternoon. Willie Reid, Irish halfback who recently returned from his jaunt abroad, will be available against the Jerseyites and the presence of the stalwart right halfback will tend toward a solidification of the defense.

With the return of Reid but one absentee remains and he will report next Monday. Alec Massie, inside forward is the player still missing, but will be ready to make his debut in his regular position the following weekend.
