SOCCER NOTES

Bethlehem Steel and Hibernian will play an exhibition game here on Nov. 17

The Bethlehem Steel soccer team is in good condition for the National League game with Disston at Philadelphia, Saturday, and is confident of annexing the points. However, the record o the Tacony club is such that no club can take any liberties with them and the fact that they have been greatly strengthened with the avowed intention of defeating the Steel Workers will make it imperative that the American cup holders take no chances and play the entire 90 minutes without a let-up. A big crowd will certainly be on hand to witness the game, as both clubs always put up a first class exhibition. No club in the east has been able to hold the Steel Workers to such close decisions, one goal being the usual dividing line during the past three years. The following players are asked to report at the Lehigh Valley station on Saturday morning at 10:25 for the trip: Duncan, Fletcher, Ferguson, Murray, Campbell, Kirkpatrick, McKelvey, Forrest, Easton, Pepper, Fleming, Murphy, Morrison and Trainer Stark.
