At the same time the patrons are getting to be treated to some brilliant work between the uprights should the invading forces advance to that point in their quest for goals. Fraser is well fortified in a position that has recently caused not a little concern. Not that Andy Beveridge, daring young goalie has fallen down on the job, but a substitute was needed in case of injury.
In hopes of pulling up into a contending position the locals engaged in some hard training this week. Injured players are slowly recovering and while a few will continue to be among the missing for the Providence game, it is quite possible that the club will be able to field a forward line more in keeping with hat of the past.
Archie Stark, top scorer of the team, who last week played wing halfback, will most likely be back at his center forward berth and if this change is made Tommy Gillespie will go back to outside right, the position in which he is most familiar. Jaap will no doubt be seen at inside right with Alec Massie inside left, and Purgavie or Dick at left wing post. With this forward line Bethlehem should be able to dent the visitors' net for enough goals to win the game.
