Bethlehem Soccer Team's Game

The local team will have for its opponents Saturday, Nov. 23, Peabody, the strong team from Philadelphia on Marsh Ball Park. Lovers of the game will have a chance to see some fine playing and also hear the returns of the Lehigh and Lafayette game given out on the grounds. The Thanksgiving Day attraction will be the West Philadelphia team, one of the best teams in the league. This will be an Allied American League game and will have a big bearing on the championship honors. This game was scheduled to be played Nov. 30 and by special request of tradespeople in the Bethlehems it has been rearranged for Thanksgiving Day in order to give the people who cannot witness Saturday afternoon football an opportunity to see the soccer game played. In all probability, this game will be played on Lehigh field. On Tuesday at 8 p.m. a general meeting of the club will be held in W. Desh's Hotel, East Third Street. It will be necessary to elected a vice caption to succeed Harry Garvey who left town.
