A snappy practice game was played Tuesday by two picked teams from the Steel players, the Blues defeating the Reds four goals to three. Two forty-five minute halves were played. The game was fast throughout. It is known that Disston is making desperate efforts to get an aggregation that will be able to defeat the United States champion. The Steel company will not be allowed to use the ball any more this week, but the remainder of the training will be devoted to short sprinting, running, and walking. All of the injured players are improved.

The draw for the second round of the National Cup competition will take place next Saturday night.
