BETHLEHEM BOOKED TO MEET FALL RIVER
First Visit of Marksmen Here Since Start of Soccer Controversy
BROOKLYN ON SUNDAY

Favored with single games over the last two weekends the Bethlehem soccer team swings into a strenuous grind on Saturday when the long-awaited for Fall River clan make their first invasion to this city in over a year.

The rejuvenated Marksmen, materially strengthened by the recent acquisition of a bevy of Boston stars, comes to Bethlehem as one of the most formidable threats for major soccer honors and a thrilling game is certain to materialize. Only once since the long argued soccer controversy did Bethlehem oppose the Marksmen and on that occasion they were defeated in an exhibition game played at Fall River.

On Sunday the Bethlehem booters journey to Brooklyn for a league fling against Nat Agar's Wanderers and another hard game is forecast. On Thanksgiving Day Bethlehem will meet New Bedford on the latter's grounds and the following Saturday will play the same team in Bethlehem.
