The Steelmenís Opportunity
Bethlehem Steelís Soccer Club is not farther advanced in the American Soccer League race than it was before the two weekend games. After defeated Brooklyn here on Saturday afternoon the Steelmen had an excellent opportunity of not only placing surely in third position but also climbing up on New Bedford and Boston, the league leaders. However, to do so the Steelmen were required to win two games, and they didnít, losing to the Giants in the Sunday tilt. As a matter of fact, Boston took a stronger hold of first place by winning two games while New Bedford, Brooklyn and Bethlehem shared in their twin bills.
