SOCCER PEP SESSION TO BE HELD TONIGHT

One of the most enthusiastic pep meetings ever held in Bethlehem is forecast for this evening when the Bethlehem Booster Club will act host to the Bethlehem soccer team. While the primary object of the meeting is a pep affair over the battle of champions tomorrow afternoon when Bethlehem and Fall River lock horns, it is also an occasion on which the Boosters want to pay homage to the Bethlehem players in recognition of their excellent record to date.

The pep meeting, smoker and dinner which will take place in the Church of Nativity Parish House on Wyandotte Street is an innovation in local soccer and on the success of this one will decide whether or not similar meetings will be held in the future. While reservations have been made for the occasions those in charge have provided for a host of last minute arrivals and announce that tickets may be secured as late as seven o’clock this evening.

In the speeches the keynote of all address with no doubt be “Scalp Fall River” for the Saturday visitors are known as Bethlehem’s keenest rivals.

Bill Highfield, former Bethlehem goalie, is to be the chairman of the affair.
