Two points for a win; one for a draw.
Everything is in readiness for the National League soccer game on the Bethlehem Steel field here tomorrow between Bethlehem Steel and the New York Field Club and a great game is certain. The New Yorkers always put up a good game and are particularly noted for their aggressiveness, playing the American style of game and which is perhaps more vigorous than scientific.
Nevertheless, it is always a dangerous team and the steel workers are out to win this game, realizing that one more defeat in the league will about end their pennant aspirations for this year. For this reason, ninety minutes of good hard soccer is assured for tomorrow.
The Bethlehem Steel team will play Disston on Saturday, Dec. 8, on Franklin Field, Philadelphia for the benefit of the Red Cross.
Five Bethlehem Steel players were unanimously elected to play on the New York-Pennsylvania team against the All-Jersey on Clark Field, Newark, on New Year's Day, for the benefit of the Red Cross. Ferguson, Bethlehem's great leader, was elected captain.
The New York Field Club, which plays here tomorrow, is the only team in the league with a victory over Paterson, and as Paterson tied Bethlehem Steel, a fast game is certain tomorrow.
