The important third round National Challenge Soccer Cup tie scheduled to have been played in New York yesterday between the Todds Shipyard and New York teams at Brooklyn, was postponed until next Sunday owing to the unplayable state of the ground, caused by the continuous rain. Harry Ratican, the famous center forward, who as released by the Harrison Club last week, will, it is reported, sign a contract next Tuesday with the Todd Shipyard Club.
